Kirstie Ruckoldt
LCSW, Clinician

Since completing my Master's Degree in Social Work in 2009, I have dedicated my career to supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals, families, and groups. My passion is rooted in helping people navigate challenges and move toward a healthy, functional, and fulfilling life.

I believe that effective therapy requires flexibility and a deeply personalized approach. I view every client through their own unique lens, holding a "think outside of the box" attitude to ensure treatment plans are always tailored to specific needs. My goal is to empower you to see and accept yourself as you are, which is the foundational first step toward understanding your current needs and unlocking your full potential.
A significant focus of my professional experience has been working with school-age children and adolescents, supporting them through crucial developmental stages.

-
For Adolescents: My approach centers on establishing a strong, trusting rapport built on emotional safety and validation. I create a space where teens can openly explore their identities and challenges.
-
For Children: I believe the key to sustainable growth is a comprehensive, "wrap-around" service model. This involves actively collaborating with caregivers and schools to create a unified and supportive environment for the child.

Furthermore, I am passionate about working with women and supporting them on their life’s journey. My goal is to laugh with, encourage, and cheer on their success while listening to and diving into everyday challenges.

To ensure treatment is both comprehensive and precisely tailored to you, I skillfully weave together a variety of evidence-based and humanistic therapeutic approaches, including:

-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT)
-
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
-
Mindfulness Practices
-
Humanistic Therapy
-
Various Forms of Expressive Therapy

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward clarity and well-being.
